Warranty Policy


This limited warranty is extended only to customers, hereinafter called "Purchasers", who purchase products from "BITS TECHNICAL CORPORATION". Subject to the following conditions, should this product prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or material under normal use and service conditions within twelve (12) months, BITS will repair or, at its option, replace the product without charge for parts or labor. Service for associated BITS's warranty items will be performed in our office or a BITS' authorized repair centers. It is purchaser's sole responsibility to return the serviceable item to one of these locations. The limited warranty does NOT apply if: (a) the product is damaged by accident, improper installation, misuse, lightning, fire, water, or other acts of nature, (b) the product is altered or repaired by anyone other than BITS or BITS authorized warranty station, or (c) the serial number is removed or tampered with. This warranty does not cover broken or marred cabinets, cases or covers. Should this product prove defective in workmanship or material, the Purchaser's sole remedy shall be such repair or replacement as provided above. Under no circumstances shall BITS be liable for any loss or damage, direct, consequential, or accidental, arising from the use or inability to use this product. BITS makes no warranty other than the one set forth herein. Such warranty is in lien of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to any expressed or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and such constitutes the only warranty made with respect to the goods. Acceptance of this product constitutes acceptance of the stated policy terms and conditions.


All items not manufactured by BITS TECHNICAL CORPORATION are subject to the original manufacturer's warranty unless expressly stated and noted by BITS. Manufacturers sometimes offer additional warranty for the following products: hard drives, retail boxed CPUs, and monitors. Customers should contact the manufacturer after their warranty with BITS TECHNICAL CORPORATION expires.


Software is not returnable or exchangeable once opened, or if the serial number or registration number has been removed or used for registration. Opened software includes, but is not limited to, removing the shrink wrap from the software or opening the seal on the envelope.

Any software that has a visible installation code / COA number may not be returned except for media exchange in the case of broken media. Microsoft software products may only be returned for media exchange. No returns or refunds on License products. Media Exchange is defined as replacement of broken media with working media for a given product due to shipping damage or defective media.


BITS TECHNICAL CORPORATION offers extended warranty which is specified on the invoice for select products. Please contact our sales representatives for more details.


Certain parts may come with extended Manufacturer's Warranty. The equipment manufacturer honors this warranty and BITS TECHNICAL CORPORATION assumes no responsibility in honoring this warranty. BITS TECHNICAL CORPORATION will attempt to RMA a product to the manufacturer in special cases when requested by the customer. Customer assumes all shipping costs to manufacturers.
